Lift Station Infrastructure Intersection Shut Down November 3

INTERSECTION/ROAD CLOSURE

Please be advised that, weather permitting, the intersection of Woodland Rd and Dove Ln will be closed on Monday, November 3 beginning at 7:00 AM. The closure is expected to last 12 hours. These times are approximate and may change during the construction process.  The intent is to complete this work in a neat and timely manner with minimal inconvenience. This temporary closure is necessary for the replacement of the existing manhole in the intersection.

Residents are requested to park along the north side of Three Points Blvd (indicated in red) or on the designated parking side of streets indicated in blue, as illustrated in the figure below. No parking on Dove Ln between Woodland Rd and Jennings Rd as well as along Woodland Rd between Dove Ln and Eagle Ln.

All vehicles need to be moved by 7AM on November 3. Parking along Three Points Blvd will be allowed starting at 6PM Sunday, November 2 and end at 10AM Tuesday, November 4.

WATER SHUTDOWN

Starting at 8AM, residents along the streets identified in purple will also have their water shut off for the duration of the manhole installation. Once the water is back on, you should turn on a couple of different faucets and run the water for a few minutes (start with an outdoor spigot or laundry tub).  You may notice air in the line and/or discolored water.  This is normal and should be temporary.  If problems persist, please call the number listed below.

Residents should reschedule any deliveries or contractor visits requiring intersection access. The city is coordinating with emergency services and Westonka Schools.
