Shoreline Drive closure in Mound and Spring Park July 31-August 9

Plan for road closures and detours

Starting Thursday, July 31, Hennepin County will repair concrete joints on Shoreline Drive (County Road 15) between Commerce Boulevard in Mound and Interlachen Road in Spring Park. 

To complete this work, crews need to fully close Shoreline Drive between Commerce Boulevard and Bartlett Boulevard through Saturday, August 9. At the same time, crews will also close eastbound Shoreline Drive between Bartlett Boulevard and Interlachen Road at the same time.

Traveling to locations near Shoreline Drive

During construction, you will still be able to access homes and businesses in the area.

If you need to travel around these road closures, you can use Commerce Boulevard to Bartlett Boulevard (County Road 125) to Willshire Boulevard to Interlachen Road as a detour.

To get to locations between Bartlett Boulevard and Interlachen Road, you can travel westbound on Shoreline Drive from Interlachen Road.

Following concrete repair work, crews will begin repaving Shoreline Drive/Lynwood Boulevard (County Road 15) between Westedge Boulevard in Mound and Black Lake Road in Spring Park. We will share more details about this work at a later date.
