City Elections & Candidate Financial Reports

City Elections & Candidate Financial Reports
The City of Mound holds city elections in even-numbered years and does not hold a primary for city elections. The City of Mound's five elected officials include that of the Mayor for a two-year term, and four Councilmembers for four-year terms. The Councilmember terms are staggered so that only two seats are up for election at the same time.

Councilmembers served at-large and represent the entire City of Mound. All offices are nonpartisan.

Candidate Financial Reports
After each election, every candidate that ran for a City Council seat must file a financial report when they have collected more than $750 in contributions or expended more than $750 in a calendar year for their campaign. Reports are available below.

Disclaimer
The City Clerk is not responsible for interpreting and enforcing campaign finance or practice laws. Any complaints regarding campaign finance or practice violations are heard by the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings.
