The City of Mound has a Council/Manager form of government. The City Council meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month in regular session. The following Advisory Commissions are recommending bodies to the City Council;  the Parks, Open Space & Docks Advisory Commission meets the 2nd Thursday of each month and considers all matters pertaining to parks, open spaces, and Docks; and  the Planning Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month and considers all matters pertaining to planning and zoning. They can inform you about codes and regulations which may apply to the project and guide you through the process of seeking any necessary approvals.
