Section 420 – BILLIARDS, POOL AND BOWLING

420.01 Billiard and Bowling Licenses. No owner or owners or keepers of any billiard tables, pool tables, pigeon hole tables, bagatelle tables, ten pin or bowling alleys of any kind and description shall allow or permit the same to be used in any public room or building or in any place kept by him/her or them for public use, for which money is paid, within the City of Mound, without first having obtained a license therefor as hereinafter provided.

420.05 Application for License. Any such owner or owners or keepers of billiard tables, pool tables, pigeon hole tables, bagatelle tables, ten pin or bowling alleys of any kind, may procure a license to run and operate the same by payment of a license fee for each ten pin or bowling alley or bagatelle table as established in accordance with the provisions of Section 500 of the City Code, per year, and any person or persons or keeper of the aforesaid articles desirous of obtaining such license shall apply to the City Council therefor in writing, in which application such applicant shall specify the place where the same is to be operated. If the Council approves the application for such license, the City Clerk shall issue the same to such applicant upon the payment of the license fee hereinafter provided.

420.10 Term of License. Each such license shall expire on the 30th day of April of each year.
